People are probably thinking moustaches and music, whats the connection? First of all they are both up there as the most exciting two things on the planet and because of our weekly segment of "Music's Best Moustaches." Once a week, on a Sunday we will be filling you in on some great acts with some of the best mo's and music out.
This weeks edition is focusing on one of the loves of our lives, TA-KU. Hailing from Perth Ta-ku's blend of hip-hop and soul creates magical sounds that suck you in and make you never want to leave. He is responsible for the great releases of LATENYC and SCARLETTE.
In 2008 Ta-ku released the funky track 'Higher'. Bringing together an awesome beat with some nicely cut up samples that went on to being remixed by Flume who drops the track at his shows all around the world. He recently mopped up an energetic remix to one of Cosmo Midnight's tunes that we are digging as well.
Ta-ku has a light, perfect and small yet prominent mo that he takes great pride in. He regularly attends some of the best barber shops in Perth and the rest of the world have to offer.
